National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts

The Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, which was established in 1988, is the first and the only national-grade fine arts museum in Taiwan. The museum regularly holds exhibitions of Western art, Chinese brush paintings, and sculpture, and has its own collection of valuable pieces of art. The main building has three floors and a basement. The first and second floors are devoted to themed exhibitions, the third floor holds a permanent exhibition of the Museum's collection, and the outdoor courtyard is showcases exquisite sculptural works. The visitors can relax in the garden outside the museum as well.


921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan

The 921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan is a national museum in Wufeng District, Taichung, Taiwan. The museum is dedicated to the 7.3 earthquake that struck the center of Taiwan at 01:47:12.6 TST on Tuesday, 21 September 1999. After the earthquake, the local government decided to preserve some of the remains from the earthquake to serve as reminders to the public for them to be prepared in the future if such event happens again.


National Museum of Natural Science

National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung City, had its grand opening in 1986. So far, the museum has four multi-media theaters for different subjects, including Space Theater, Bird view Theater, 3D Theater and Environment Theater. In addition, there are the park encompassing the greenhouse for tropical rainforest and the outdoor exhibition of evolution of low-altitude plants in Taiwan. It is the largest recreational and educational center in the country and it is the best-equipped museum.


Taiwan Balloon Museum

Taiwan Balloons Museum is a museum about balloons in Anli Village, Shengang District, Taichung, Taiwan. The museum building was once the old factory of the Taiwan Tailloon Balloons Co. Ltd. The current factory of the company is located right next to the museum building. The museum building resembles a balloon from outside. The museum exhibits the balloon production process, balloon making activities and balloon-related games. The museum is accessible west from Fengyuan Station of the Taiwan Railways Administration.


Asia University Museum of Modern Art

Asia University Museum of Modern Art is mainly constructed with concrete and curtain walls. Designed by Japanese Architect Tadao Ando, numerous equilateral triangles are stacked up irregularly to form the three-story building. The atrium space and outdoor terraces created with the crisscrossing arrangement serve as sculpture display and outdoor cafe areas. Students of Asia University are privileged to immerse in this world-class masterpiece.
