Camera-ready Submission Guidelines
Authors of accepted papers must timely submit their camera-ready manuscript (Hard deadline Nov. 30, 2019, 23:59 EST, via EasyChair system) after completing the following steps:

1. Revising the manuscript
2. Producing IEEE Xplore compliant PDF
3. Transfering IEEE Copyright

Failure in timely upload of camera ready of your submission will result in canceled publication.

1. Revising the manuscript

The appropriate copyright clearance code notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper.
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-5453-4/20/$31.00 ©2020 Crown
  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-5453-4/20/$31.00 ©2020 European Union
  • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-5453-4/20/$31.00 ©2020 IEEE
Accepted manuscript must be revised to address the reviewers' comments and IEEE paper format. The camera-ready version of your paper must be uploaded in PDF as well as an editable file (or files) - MS word (.doc, .docx) or Latex files.

* Regular Papers: Camera-ready papers should be from 5 to 8 pages.
* Short Papers: Camera-ready papers should be from 2 to 4 pages.

Note:

  • All papers must follow IEEE format. Templates can be downloaded from here: Word Template and Latex Template, or you can find them at the IEEE website.
  • IEEE policy requires all submissions to be screened through a plagiarism detection process. IMCOM 2020 TPC will use CROSSCHECK to determine the similarity score of each and every paper. Papers that exceed 30% similarity will be carefully inspected.

2. Producing IEEE Xplore compliant PDF

All papers submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must adhere to the IEEE Xplore PDF specification for compatibility. IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function). The procedure is as follows:

  1. Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site (http://www.pdf-express.org/).
    • First-time users
      • Click "New Users - Click Here".
      • Enter 48794X for the Conference ID, your email address, and choose a new password. Continue to enter information as prompted.
      • You will receive online and email confirmation of successful account setup within 24 hours.
    • Previous users
      • Enter 48794X for the Conference ID, your email address, and enter the password you used for your old account.
      • When you click "Login", if you receive an error saying you need to set up a PDF Express account, simply click "Continue". By entering your previously used email address and password combination, you will enable your old account for access to this new conference.
  2. For each conference paper, click "Create New Title".
  3. Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required).
  4. Click "Submit File for Checking or Converting".
  5. Click Browse and navigate to the file you want to upload, and click "Upload File". You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload.
  6. Click "Continue" to see the status of your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached. If you submitted a PDF for Checking, you will also receive an email which show if your file passed or failed within 24 hours.
  7. If the result is failed, please proofread the generated PDF file thoroughly. There could be missing symbols, equations, graphs and other reported errors. Please make necessary corrections to the source file and repeat the conversion process again. For the comprehensive guidelines, please check Using IEEE PDF eXpress®.

The IEEE Copyright form needs to be completed for each paper before submitting your final paper. Fill out the IEEE Copyright form HERE (It works best on Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer).

If you have difficulty in completing the online form, please download the copyright form HERE and send the complete form to the secretariat, icuimc.skku@gmail.com.
